We offer a 3 years’ Postdoctoral Research position in our Biologics Drug Product Development department in Basel (Switzerland), supporting an innovative project in the context of ultra-highly concentrated novel formulations for monoclonal antibodies.

About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Addressing manufacturing technology questions in collaboration with a technology partner.
- Process optimization and detailed product characterization using various non-standard methods.
- Optimization of rheology, injectability, and compatibility of antibody suspensions.
- Connection with the compatibility and bioavailability of the suspensions in vivo.
- Development of in vivo and in vitro tests for product evaluation.
- Supervision of two PhD students whose research topics fall within the postdoc’s area of expertise.
Minimum Requirements:
Work Experience:
- Good knowledge of laboratory and/or technical tools for biologic drug product development and process optimization
- Interest in problem-solving and optimization strategies
- Strong skills in mentoring and guiding junior researchers.
- Teamwork and willingness to collaborate.
Skills:
- PhD in a related field (e.g., pharmaceutical sciences, biology, chemistry, biotechnology, etc.) - graduation no longer than 1 year ago
- General experience and knowledge in biologic / protein products, ideally experiences on high dose protein formulations
Languages :
- English.
