Provide advanced analytics solutions delivery and reporting support to Novartis internal stakeholders. Utilize data science methodologies to drive continuous improvements and elevate client experience.

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

  • Transform raw data into actionable business insights through advanced data science techniques and statistical analysis.
  • Generate predictive and prescriptive analytics to inform business strategies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain machine learning models and solutions for various business problems.
  • Conduct hypothesis testing, experimental design, and advanced statistical analysis to support decision-making.
  • Implement data preprocessing and feature engineering techniques to prepare data for modeling.
  • Evaluate model performance and conduct model tuning to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop interactive visualizations using state-of-the-art tools compatible with Novartis servers to support data-driven decisions.
  • Develop dashboards that effectively communicate insights and trends to stakeholders.
  • Create (semi) automated scripts and workflows for data processing, analysis, and reporting to eliminate manual steps and improve efficiency.
  • Translate stakeholders’ requirements into actionable analytics projects and deliverables.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to manage expectations and gather feedback.
  • Provide training to end-users on the functionality and utility of new analytics solutions and dashboards.
  • Monitor compliance and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Adhere to training on relevant procedures before engaging in any GxP activities.
  • Continuously report the status of deliverables and acquire process knowledge.
  • Stay current with the latest data science tools, methodologies, and trends to ensure the analytics function remains cutting-edge.
  • Drive the development of proof-of-concept projects, ad hoc analyses, new reporting initiatives, and customer showcasing.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
  • Comply with all internal functional operating procedures, such as time tracking, KPI tracking, and reporting.
  • Contribute to developing and sustaining an inspiring, curious, and un-bossed culture.

Minimum Requirements:
Work Experience:

  • Good knowledge of data analytics, managing large and multiple datasets coming from multiple databases/sources
  • Experience in BI reporting and KPI development, testing & development
  • Hands on expertise on ETL and data wrangling tools like Alteryx Python, SQL or similar.
  • Hands on expertise on developing dashboards, UI/UX in QlikSense, Tableau, publish and managing access on server platform.
  • Proficiency in data science, including machine learning, statistical analysis, and advanced analytics techniques.
  • Proven ability to work with data and create powerful presentations

Languages :

  • English.
