About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Lead review of rebate simulations and sensitivity analyses for all business cases and requested net pricing approvals
- Develop models to evaluate access strategies for all products, including LOE
- Contribute to ad-hoc business reviews, forecasting exercises, yearly price increase process etc
- Supports in PMPRB pre-assessments and contributes to the development of the Canadian introductory pricing for pipeline products
- Supports in contract and invoicing reviews
- Develops new approaches/processes and continually improves current processes to increase the efficiency and services of the pricing functional area
- Acts as point of contact / back-up for Pricing, Contracting & Access Director
Minimum Requirements:
Essential:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a senior financial planning Manager role- Bachelor – business, finance or economics
- Strong leadership skills (leadership without authority) and ability to set a clear direction, collaborate with multifunctional teams and network effectively.
- Ability to summarize information and story telling.
- Curiosity, operational excellence, agility, innovation.
- Analysis, forecasting skills required (ability to lead assessing market dynamics and financial implications with limited support from other functions)
- Business acumen and strategic mindset and Ability to interact with executives or key customers.
- Solid facilitator coupled with strong negotiation and project management skills
- English proficiency, French intermediate level.
Desirable:
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical Industry, the Canadian health system, access and reimbursement environment (asset)
