Location: Montreal, #LI-Hybrid Or Toronto Hybrid The internal Novartis title is: Lead, Pricing, Contracting & Access Analytics About the role: We are looking for a Senior Manager, Pricing, Contracting & Access Analytics to join our team to meaningfully impact and enable broad broad and timely access for our patients. In this role, you will work on strategic pricing assessments, contract reviews, business case development and list & net pricing simulations. This role will work directly with the Value, Access & NPP team and reports to the Pricing, Contracting & Access for Mature products Director.

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

  • Lead review of rebate simulations and sensitivity analyses for all business cases and requested net pricing approvals
  • Develop models to evaluate access strategies for all products, including LOE
  • Contribute to ad-hoc business reviews, forecasting exercises, yearly price increase process etc
  • Supports in PMPRB pre-assessments and contributes to the development of the Canadian introductory pricing for pipeline products
  • Supports in contract and invoicing reviews
  • Develops new approaches/processes and continually improves current processes to increase the efficiency and services of the pricing functional area
  • Acts as point of contact / back-up for Pricing, Contracting & Access Director

Minimum Requirements:

  • Essential:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a senior financial planning Manager role-  Bachelor – business, finance or economics
  • Strong leadership skills (leadership without authority) and ability to set a clear direction, collaborate with multifunctional teams and network effectively.
  • Ability to summarize information and story telling.
  • Curiosity, operational excellence, agility, innovation.
  • Analysis, forecasting skills required (ability to lead assessing market dynamics and financial implications with limited support from other functions)
  • Business acumen and strategic mindset and Ability to interact with executives or key customers.
  • Solid facilitator coupled with strong negotiation and project management skills
  • English proficiency, French intermediate level.
  • Desirable:

  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical Industry, the Canadian health system, access and reimbursement environment (asset)
