Health Policy & Public Affairs Manager

Major accountabilities:

• Provide an up-to-date view of political, economic & health landscape (GR & EU)
• Identify and track potential health policy initiatives
• Monitor and analyze legislative procedures to inform strategy
• Cultivate and expand networks internally & externally
• Plan and execute policy-related activities
• Create evidence, position and argumentation papers in health, economic, and social policy arenas
• Represent Novartis' interests in industry associations & networks
• Work cross-functionally to identify policy opportunities & implications in business focus areas

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required in public health, economics, political science or related field
• MSc in health policy, political sciences or related field will be considered as an extra asset
• At least 2 years of experience in Corporate or Public Affairs or Market Access or Academia
• Strategic and analytical mindset
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, facilitation and partnering skills. Strong ability to collaborate and coordinate across cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment
• Ability to establish engagement and build partnerships with Health Policy stakeholders
• Understanding of healthcare market & relevant experience either directly or indirectly will be considered as an extra asset
• Adaptable – is willing to change and grow in an uncertain and fast moving environment (high learning agility)
• Fluency in Greek and English, both in verbal and written communications
