About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of business use cases within the Analytics group for high quality analytics applications containing advanced analytics components including GenAI & AI.
- Designing and managing the development of modular, reusable, elegantly designed and maintainable software that supports the Quailty organisation within our Analytics domain as well as strategic initiatives.
- Being hands on, solution driven and customer focused. Supporting the development and maintaining of the code repositories for which you are responsible and respond rapidly to bug reports or security vulnerability issues.
- Embody and integrate software development best practices into your everyday work and inspire others within the engineering community to emulate these practices.
- Collaborate extensively with your colleagues across Security, Compliance, Engineering, Product Management, Product Service Management and Business Management.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors’ Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Strong experience in a professional environment, building enterprise level applications across platforms, including GenAI/AI components.
- Deep expertise in customer facing IT roles, with a demonstrated ability to deliver enterprise level applications.
- Expert in AWS and/or Azure services.
- Good knowledge of query languages such as Spark, Python, SQL, Snowflake etc.
- Strong capability to collect and interpret requirements, building supporting schemas to clarify requirements.
- Solid experience data engineering fundamentals in data management, data analysis, backend system design.
- Fluent in Agile, Disciplined Agile as well as Waterfall delivery concepts.
- Fluency in English (oral & written).
Desirable:
- Preferred experience with Data & Analytics solutions, including familiarity with ADOIT, ERWIN and Data modelling.
- Proficiency in using tool such as Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket.
- Experience operating in a pharmaceutical, healthcare or regulated industry.
