Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Site Supply Chain Head to lead the development and implementation of the supply chain strategy for isotopes at our key Baarle-Nassau site on a fixed-term contract of 1 year.
This pivotal role involves enhancing technical and leadership capabilities within the Isotopes Supply Chain, providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure high-quality customer service in accordance with our values, policies, Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and other regulations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in aligning plans and execution to meet business objectives, driving the success of our essential operations.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and ensure the growth of talent within the Supply Chain organization, managing a team of five staff members.
- Serve as the end-to-end superuser for the site's ERP system, ensuring seamless integration and functionality
- Enhance the Supply Chain capabilities of your team by mentoring and providing training on best practices.
- Drive excellence in end-to-end Supply Chain operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients by delivering prompt and accurate service, contributing to the company's stellar reputation.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality internal customer service through fast and accurate order processing, effective communication, and coordination with other departments to resolve inquiries.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure timely order placement with internal and external suppliers.
- Continuously manage and improve performance in Supply Chain KPIs.
- Oversee day-to-day relationships with 3rd Party Logistics companies, ensuring smooth operations.
- Manage and control the regional Supply Chain budget and expenses, ensuring financial efficiency.
Essential Requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Supply Chain management, Operations Management or equivalent
- Extensive experience in Supply Chain within highly regulated environments (GMP - Pharma, Nuclear, or Food Industry).
- Proven leadership skills, with flexibility, initiative, and resilience, and over 3 years of managerial experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, positive working relationships across functions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a financially driven mindset.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience in leveraging key enterprise systems (e.g. SAP/LGD365) and digitalization of processes
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
