Role Title: Assoc. Dir. DDIT OPS SD SC Planning (Kinaxis Rapid Response)

Job Purpose:

As Kinaxis RR Solution Design expert you will drive design decisions in line with Kinaxis best practice standards, The purpose is to partner with business and IT stakeholders to propose process optimization and best-fit solution based on business requirements and standard implemented templates, while leveraging Kinaxis technology. Furthermore, to analyze and refine requirements for delivering the necessary technology service to business within the area of Supply Chain Planning/Kinaxis RR.

Several technologies have emerged and created a disruption altering traditional ways of working and requiring companies to rethink the way they design and operate. As key enabler in SC area to support digital strategy, Novartis has embarked on exciting SC transformation journey implementing Kinaxis RR technology for E2E network optimization.

A strong IT partner, with expert Kinaxis RR functional skills and agile mindset, is required to collaborate with external system integrators and our supply chain department to leverage emerging digital business models to transform supply chain.

In this role you will lead the identification, design, development governance and support deployment of solutions that leverage the latest and most appropriate Kinaxis RR technologies (e.g. analytics, standard product workbooks, automations, etc.). You will support the transformation of our supply chain and the continuation of our digital journey to rethink the way supply chain planning is designed and operates:

• Integrated planning process development and optimizations
• Advanced Demand Planning & Forecasting
• Smart constraint planning to optimize bottleneck resource production (design advance models based on RR basic constrain planning analytics)
• Optimized supply chain network models developed from scenario based enriched data
• Optimize inventory with customized fulfillment strategy to capture greater cost savings
• Use historical enterprise data to feed predictive planning models to harness more informed decisions.
• S&OP simplification leveraging RR module
• Self-healing supply Chain, Attribute Based Planning
• Wheel planning customization to bring advanced capability and switch-over optimization
• Any other specific business problems linked to data, processes and technologies

Roles and responsibilities:

• Highlight/identify gaps in existing planning technology functionality and review requirements with stakeholders
• Support and coordinate development of project rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility of projects
• Develop a comprehensive requirement specification that will determine the estimate of cost, time and resources to deploy solutions
• Lead and collaborate with business stakeholders and external service provider partner teams to suggest a high level functional solution
• Ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved in specification of new services and/or major upgrades to existing services
• Ensure the overall user experience is taken into account when designing and deploying new solutions
• Ensure consistency and traceability between user requirements, functional specifications and testing & validation. Support validation and testing (OQ, PQ, UAT...)
• Ensure implemented solutions are according to specifications and fit for purpose
• Support Super User training
• Keep abreast with internal IT systems and documentation requirements, standards (including quality management and IT security)
• Keep abreast with industry best practices in leveraging technologies for the business and with regulatory environments / requirements if applicable
• Stay on top of latest developments in Kinaxis RR roadmap and suggest applicability & benefits of potential implementation in Novartis planning processes
• Actively drive Kinaxis RR platform management best practices with system standardization mindset
• Govern processes, system documentation and solutions in the area of supply chain planning – Kinaxis RR.
• Work as Solution Design Expert with Enhancement Factory teams, support operations teams with Kinaxis expertise, or drive as Novartis owner the solution design on complex programs.
• Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures
• Within Service Delivery Scope

Additional accountabilities (optional)

• Contribute to the planning IT function strategy and roadmap, evaluation of the as-is and identification of the key investment priorities short, medium and long term in collaboration with Supply Chain Global Process Owners and Function Heads
• Stakeholder management
• Support preparation of final project estimates
• Lead Solution design on big projects or big functional teams in strategic programs
• Mentoring, coaching and direction setting to junior team members

Essential Requirements:

• University Degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, Business or similar

• Overall 10+ years’ experience and 5+ years’ experience with complex Kinaxis RR implementations; strong techno-functional knowledge, Solution Design, consultancy
• Kinaxis RR certifications (Production, Supply, Demand Planning, Data Model & Integrations)
