We are looking for experienced Manufacturing professionals to help us reach our ambitious goals.

The Process Engineer will execute engineering activities (design, implementation, maintenance, etc.) within technical area of expertise by using reliable and cost-effective technical solutions, ensuring technical quality to enable the overall site / project objectives. Responsible for execution of maintenance and calibration activities and commissioning activities for projects at site level. Supervise plant engineering team providing technical assistance to the function and ensuring that the best possible maintenance, repair and/or modifications are undergone. Execute for design, execution and hand-over projects within cost, time schedule, quality and functionality within technical area of responsibility.

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

  • Support internal and external audits
  • Own the Training Curriculum for own Job Profile
  • Lead or contribute to equipment, utility, facility improvement projects (e.g. energy efficiency, productivity, environmental compliance, maintenance)
  • Procure permits for maintenance / calibration / projects
  • Develop Project Cost Estimation and Value Improvement Review
  • Identify technical solutions
  • Prepare project procurement plan, perform project tendering and procurement
  • Perform project HSE management And execute project safety stops/reviews
  • Perform project reviews (e.g. Technical Quality Review (TQR), constructability)
  • Support internal and external audits -Prepare tools, spare parts etc. for maintenance / calibration
  • Identify spare parts for maintenance and maintain pick-lists
  • Execute work orders for maintenance / calibration as per method statement / procedure
  • Supervise maintenance /calibration work as Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Update CMMS after maintenance / calibration completion
  • Document execution of CalibrationProcess Engineer
  • Ensure compliance with industrial standards and GMP guidelines
  • Implement preventive maintenance plan in shutdown intervals according to the schedule maintenance plan and planned corrective repairs to equipment problems
  • Participate in maintenance/reliability reviews of new projects
  • Execute and follow up any infrastructure/civil work task in the production plant
  • Supervise the change over operations for production equipment to improve productivity of equipment
  • Coach and motivate new team members
  • Responsible for personal and professional development
  • Execute project in alignment with key local and global stakeholders
  • Execute the project according life cycle costs and project schedules
  • Apply state of the art technical solutions according compliance standards and HSE regulations
  • Ensure projects on site are developed through their various stages of scope, definition, approval and implementation
  • Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt
  • Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $85,400 to $158,600/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a GMP environment is required
  • Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry is required
  • Pharmaceutical aseptic filling experience is preferred
  • Vendor management experience is a plus
  • Knowledge/experience in automation or computer system validation (CSV) is a plus
  • Experience managing projects is preferred
