About the Role

Role Requirements:

We are offering a permanent position for a senior lab analyst within Bioanalytics, a section of our Technical Research and Development department for Biologics. The role involves planning and performing scientific experiments, developing analytical procedures, and contributing to the management and organization of an analytical development laboratory.

We primarily develop and work with methods for biological impurity analytics and characterization (e.g., endotoxins, host cell proteins, etc.). Our work involves bioanalytical methods, such as BET (LAL assay and recombinant formats) as well as ELISA (e.g. for HCPs or Protein A) and recently also cell-based bioanalytics (e.g. MAT for pyrogen testing). Our responsibilities also include carrying out Low Endotoxin Recovery (LER) studies and developing endotoxin demasking methods if LER is detected.

Excellent practical knowledge of laboratory work / organization, good theoretical and scientific knowledge, expertise in data and digital tools and workflows, and good documentation skills are required.

We aim to hire a motivated team player who is interested in performing lab work and developing new analytical methods under high-quality development standards.
