  • proposing, designing, and evaluating novel assays and chemotypes to tackle longstanding challenges in covalent ligand discovery

  • effective communication and collaboration as a critical member of multi-disciplinary project teams in early stage drug discovery and covalency-enabled exploration of new modalities

  • biochemical, biophysical, and cellular characterization of protein-ligand interactions, including MS-based characterization of covalent adducts on proteins

  • medium-to-high throughput compound screening

Essential Requirements:

  • PhD in Chemical Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biological Science with at least 2 years of related postdoctoral and/or industry experience.

  • A background in covalent ligand discovery with an emphasis in biophysics or cellular studies and a working knowledge of organic chemistry.

  • Knowledge of the concepts governing compound binding affinity and reactivity, kinetics, and selectivity as well as experience with design and application of affinity- and reactivity-based chemical probes

  • The ability to work collaboratively, with autonomy, and thrive in a multitasking environment

  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
