About the role:
We are seeking an experienced leader with deep knowledge and expertise in SAP products, particularly the Ariba Network, to join our team as the S2P Digital Solutions Manager. This role focuses on e-invoicing, supplier enablement, and delivering outstanding services globally. Currently, Ariba e-invoicing is present in 35 Novartis locations. The S2P Digital Solutions Manager will oversee two teams within the S2P organization of Novartis Business Services in Prague. One team focuses on supplier enablement for Indirect Procurement (Commerce Automation), with a strong emphasis on e-invoicing and auto-posting, and is expanding to supplier enablement for Direct Procurement via Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration. The second team is dedicated to Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM) activities, including vendor registration through Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Performance (SLP) and fraud prevention using ORO callbacks. The role ensures smooth operations of both teams, equipping them with necessary tools and support, and involves close collaboration with IT and global program teams on ongoing Digital Transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the business interface owner and administrator of SAP Ariba Network. Own the supplier enablement process for Ariba Commerce Automation, Supply Chain Collaboration, and Taulia.
• Manage two teams focused on SAP Ariba and Supplier Lifecycle Management activities.
• Accountable for meeting e-invoicing KPI, auto-posting KPI, and agreed SLA targets.
• Ensure successful delivery of transactional documents (PO, Invoice, OC, ASN, etc.) between internal ERPs and Ariba Network.
• Manage global scoping, projections, reporting, and KPIs for supplier enablement to e-invoicing at a global level.
• Drive complex supplier integrations for e-ordering/e-invoicing via Ariba through cXML, EDI, CSV.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams deploying further SAP Ariba solutions (SLP, content enablement, guided buying, S4HANA).
• Provide training and access to SAP Ariba Network for technical teams, manage country rules, transactional rules, and other related settings on the SAP Ariba Novartis buyer account.
• Validate and sign off on deployments, enhancements, and new company code go-lives related to the Novartis internal system interface to SAP Ariba.
• Manage internal training and communication related to SAP Ariba with category managers, local teams, and buyers.
Key Requirements:
•University degree in business administration, finance, or computer science.
•Proficiency in English (written and spoken); other EU languages are a plus.
•Experience with project management practices, particularly in the context of P2P Digital Transformation projects.
•People management experience.
•In-depth knowledge of SAP products, particularly Ariba Network, S4HANA, and ECC.
•Experience in leading process improvements.
•Strong technical competence in SAP Ariba and ERP systems.
