Last Thursday, February 20th, Novartis Dublin had the pleasure of hosting over 70 students from the prestigious Trinity College Dublin’s Masters of Science in Management program, along with professor, Dr. Daniel Malan, for an interactive learning event.
The event, hosted by Martin O’Sullivan, HSE Governance Head, in collaboration with various team members from Novartis Dublin and Corporate Ethics, Risk and Compliance, highlighted the importance of Novartis making a meaningful impact and upholding ethical standards for patients, society, and our planet. The team also provided insights into the Ethics, Risk and Compliance organization and programs such as the Code of Ethics and Doing Business Ethically, second line of defense, ESG reporting. They also discussed our integrated assurance journey, sustainable business practices, and conducted some interactive real-world business case study exercises.
A big thank you to Martin O’Sullivan, Eamon Boland, Anthony Grady, Niamh McDonald, Deborah Curran, Barry Ryan, Dave O’Neill, Malcolm Doak, Lee Christie and Lucy Fitzgerald for presenting, and thank you everyone at Novartis who was involved in the organization of this event.
We wish the students at Trinity College Dublin all the best in their career journey, and trust that they will make valuable contributions to the society!
