Novartis Ireland welcomes 25 transition year students
Novartis Ireland welcomed 25 Transition Year students from across Ireland, to the Dublin office, for a five day program gave the students the opportunity to experience what it is like to work in the pharmaceutical industry. The students had talks from Novartis employees about various topics including sustainability, wellbeing, digital security and innovation.
On the final day, the students presented on two topics “Why you would consider working in Pharma” and “The Pros and Cons of Hybrid Working”. What surprised the TY students most about Novartis was the wide range of jobs available in the pharmaceutical industry – “There is so much more to pharma than scientists in white coats.” A big thank you to Emer Battlle, Ciara OConnell, Kathleen McQuone Elliott, Michelle Dalton for organising, and Andrew, Kevin, Ashwini, Saffa, Rohan, Aisling, Brian, Vikki, Cat, Anne, Padraic, Joao, Shalmali, Joe, Naomi, Amy, Caitriona, Claire, Malachy, Pat for sharing your experience and knowledge with the students.
