About the Role
Job purpose:
Strategically prepare the market for the pre-launch or launch of the new drugs and the new indications and ensure support to brands, through medical information sharing, education of the scientific community and Medical Experts, medical activities, scientific data generation (RWE), methodological support, and by the scientific exchange seeking external insights to shape Novartis commercial and development programs.
Core member of the Brand Teams in any scientific-related matters, product-related strategy, and tactics
Establishing scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals and decision makers to build advocacy
Job requirements:
Degree in scientific or healthcare discipline or equivalent – MD/PhD will be desirable
3+ years (highly desirable) pharmaceutical industry experience and/or relevant scientific research experience with publications; including projects at local, cross-functional, and regional level
Excellent communication skills, ability to influence Senior Leaders/Stakeholders both internally and externally
Digital skills and capabilities: cutting-edge scientific projects and creating major innovations; proven ability to interface effectively with a variety of technical platforms regarding medical affairs information
Knowledge in immunology/dermatology/allergology and/or relevant therapeutic areas will be also desirable
Demonstrated ability to develop and foster peer-to-peer, credible relationships with health care professionals
High degree of business acumen and market knowledge
Strong interpersonal, communication presentation and scientific writing skills
Strong strategic and analytical thinking within cross-functional and regulatory setting
Fluent in both written and spoken English
