About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- MSOM is a global clinical manager or country / cluster leader on study specific activities – is responsible for Trial Monitoring and external quality and compliance of clinical monitoring activities related to investigator site qualification, initiation, and trial conduct (recruitment, quality data collection).
- Ensures adherence to clinical data standards, prevailing legislation, GCP, Ethical Committee and SOP requirements -Establishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to subordinates.
- Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas and/or customers -Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
- Contributes to and often leads the development of departmental goals and objectives.
- May review and sign off Monitoring Visits Reports -Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)
Essential Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in clinical research
- Ability to manage crises
- Readiness to work across cultures
- Fluent in English
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience working with African and Arabian Peninsula countries
