Position Title : Strategic Planning Lead
Location – Hyderabad #LI Hybrid
About the role:
Strategic Planning Lead - Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic priorities for Novartis Operations, in alignment with the Novartis Enterprise Strategy. The main purpose will be the active management and governance of strategic projects to facilitate the Operational priorities of the organization.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Implement global category strategy at local level OR implement sourcing business plan for area of responsibility; directly deploys global category strategy at site level.
- Primary responsibility is to plan and support development of Operations strategy and to lead key business projects for Novartis Operations, with the aim of maximizing economic and enterprise value and securing future competitiveness.
- Establish and support governance for Operations Leadership meetings. Collaborate with global functions for various internal and external engagements for Operations.
- Stakeholder management with other units e.g. Strategy & Growth, Investor Relations, Corporate Reporting.
- Further responsibilities include research and data analytics activities that allow to gain new insights that define the strategic directions for both, TechOps and Technology & Solutions.
- Design, organize and operationalize KPIs for Operations Performance populated with up-to-date information for decision making/ triage (automate where possible).
- Communicate and support change management where required.Lead a diverse team of professionals in Strategic Initiatives, inspire, engage and coach
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Solid subject matter expertise experience and hands on to Strategy Development, Project Management, Financial Management, Collaborating across boundaries, Develop and deliver content for management information/ presentations.
- Adapting tactics in Strategic thinking and planning knowledge of current and future global business trends. Manage resources and assess impact of (internal & external) changes on the HCS, analyzing stakeholder requirements
- Significant impact on the strategy for Operations
Desirable Requirements:
- University Degree in science, economics or engineering combined with and MBA degree or equivalent.
- Min 10–15-year experience out of which at least 5 in managerial/ individual contributor and consulting / project manager roles
- Broad experience (7+ years) in life sciences or healthcare desirable. Sound team coordination, collaboration and project management skills
- Ability to work under pressure, demonstrating agility and flexibility through effective and innovative leadership. Excellent organizational, planning, resource management skills. Global customer facing experience / ability to interact with senior stakeholders
