Key Responsibilities:
- Acts as a key link connecting the needs of locations with the procurement strategy.
- Identification of harmonization opportunities and leading related activities to reduce complexity.
- Coordinate new project’s endorsement
- Responsibility for the implementation and management of the material lifecycle at the level of material/category/platform.
- Supports sites with coordinating identification of suitable material for site needs and implementation of it.
- Overseeing the timely completion of implementation activities related to the material lifecycle.
- Supervise the implementation of sourcing plans for the category & deliver category savings targets following engagement in the target setting process.
- Identification of potential risks and preparation of risk management plans.
- Responsibility for preparing (together with other responsible persons) a BCP at the material level.
- Implementation and adherence to all instructions and requirements for ensuring safe work, environmental protection, and property protection.
- Organizing and leading meetings related to the introduction of materials and preparing minutes.
- Responsibility for reporting the status of implementation.
- Ensuring timely information to all stakeholders.
- Consolidation and preparation of data/information for Product & Project Review.
- Responsibility for escalations in accordance with escalation procedures.
- Drives material implementation governance – chair P&PR review meeting.
- Get the projects endorsed during governance
- Highlight hot topics to leadership and get support for critical projects
Essential Requirements:
- Graduate in sciences – biochemical, chemical or pharmaceutical sciences with higher level degree (MBA, PhD)
- 5-10 years of relevant business experience in large corporate organizations (industry specific experience is a plus).
- Strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Technical operations, development, product life cycle management, cross-functional leadership, and new supplier qualification skills are a plus
- Expertise in organizational dynamics and culture, ability to gain trust and confidence at all levels in the organization, leadership and project management experience
- Previous experience and strong mindset in continuous improvement and change management with a focus in the Direct materials domain.
- Needs to be able to work independently and reliably without much direction and guidance.
- Experience in international, complex and dynamic environments.
