Summary

The Site Operations Head is responsible for driving project management and operational excellence activities for the manufacturing site and within the RLT Network. The incumbent will be member of the Site Leadership Team and will assist the Site Strategic Planning Process and Production scheduling processes. The incumbent will own and provide oversight to the Site Projects portfolio and its inherent governance.

About the Role

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct management of the site Scheduling, Project Management and Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Manages projects cross-functionally as well as through critical external partners and its leadership team.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, as well as facilitating effective communication and information transfer to and from internal and external partners.
  • Communicates project status, issues, assessing risks, and proposing solutions to the team.
  • Management of timelines and deliverables of tech transfer, process development, and other projects executed at sites and CMOs if necessary.
  • Financial responsibility for tracking development and commercial projects, ensuring costs and payments are executed accurately.
  • Provide management team with weekly/monthly metrics and progress dashboards reflecting status of all development and manufacturing activities.
  • Develop and champion the OpEx culture within the site and network, driving a continuous improvement mindset. Owns jointly with the SLT the Site Operating Governance mechanisms.
  • Support and effective use of OpEx tools and methodologies within the site and network.
  • Driving cross-site collaboration and improvements as part of the continuous improvement and standardization culture.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Degree in Engineering or related fields;
  • Training in radio chemistry;
  • 8 years’ experience in manufacturing, quality, or a related technical field within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication and analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated history of working collaboratively across functions and sites.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
