We are looking for a Manager, Patient Centred Outcomes (PCO) Centre of Excellence. In collaboration with the Head, Patient Centred Outcomes (PCO) Centre of Excellence in clinical development to support activities for Patient-Centered Outcomes (PCO) within Clinical Development and cross functionally. This role can be based in London, UK or Basel, Switzerland.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Supports the development and strengthening of PCO core expertise Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO), Patient-Centered Outcome Assessments (PCOA) and related instruments.
  • Supports short- and long-range vision and strategy for PCO development and implementation.
  • Collaborations with Biomedical Research (BR) to develop strategies of early-stage implementation of PCO Plans from PoC stage.
  • Supports integration of “digital development” into the PCO process (ePCOs).
  • Supports Novartis externally in Health Authorities and payers discussions concerning PCOs and impact on individual products.

Minimum requirements

  • Ph.D in relevant life sciences qualification (e.g. Health Economics and Outcomes Research), PharmD, and/or Master’s degree (Masters in Public Health)
  • 3+years’ experience in academia and at least 1 year experience in pharmaceutical industry.
