We are seeking for a Global Safety Expert (m/f/d). In this role you will be responsible for developing safety standards and providing technical guidance to the HSE function at Novartis sites and to other stakeholders.
Working in accordance with legislation, internal rules, good practices and business objectives.

Major accountabilities:
- Vaše ključne odgovornosti:
- Skupaj z ostalimi deležniki boste sodelovali pri pripravi ocen tveganja in načrtov/ pristopov za zmanjševanje le-teh.
- Ugotavljali boste potrebe po usposabljanju, pripravljali in izvajali globalna izobraževanja ter skrbeli za ustrezno raven ekspertnih znanj sodelavcev Novartisa po vsem svetu.
- Pripravljali in sodelovali boste v varnostnih kampanjah ter delili pridobljene izkušnje, dobre prakse in druge koristne informacije v podjetju.
- Podpirali oziroma vodili boste raziskave temeljnih vzrokov za resne nesreče ter pripravo akcijskih načrtov za naslavljanje le-teh.
- Zagotavljali boste podporo pri internih pregledih skladnosti ter inšpekcijskih pregledih s strani lokalnih organov.
- Pripravljali in predstavljali boste poročila o stanju tveganj in drugih kazalnikih na vašem ekspertnem področju.
- Vaš doprinos k delovnem mestu:
- Univerzitetna stopnja izobrazbe s področja kemije, upravljanja varnosti, inženirstva ali drugega sorodnega naravoslovno-tehničnega področja.
- Napredno znanje angleškega jezika
- Minimalno 5 let delovnih izkušenj na področju tehničnih in varnostnih dejavnosti.

- Together with the relevant stakeholders conducts risk assessments and establishes risk mitigation plans.
- Identifies the needs, develops and drives relevant safety trainings, to ensure suitable level of expert knowledge is available to Novartis sites worldwide.
- Prepares and communicate safety awareness campaigns, shares lessons learned, good practices and other useful information across the company.
- Supports or leads root cause investigations of serious incidents and preparation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Supports Novartis conformance reviews and/or legal compliance audits and inspections from local authorities.
- Prepares and presents the reports of the current and emerging risks and other key performance indicators in the area of expertise.
- Essential Requirements:
- University diploma in chemistry, safety management, engineering or other related natural-technical sciences.
- Advanced level in English is required.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field of technical and safety activities.
