About the Role
Novartis is seeking for a leader with exceptional work behaviors to join our team as the Head of Legal Business Services in Hyderabad. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the organization and make a significant impact in the legal field.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Legal Business Services team, ensuring detailed execution of all legal operations and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine legal requirements and successfully implement solutions
- Offer legal guidance and assistance to internal team members on a diverse array of legal topics
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including law firms and regulatory bodies
- Stay updated on relevant legal and industry trends to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize legal processes and enhance efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience as a legal professional, with at least 16 years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage a team that consistently achieves outstanding results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- In-depth knowledge of legal frameworks and regulations relevant to the pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high level of adaptability and resilience
