Summary

Location: Israel, field based.

Leading the pre-launch process of Novartis products cross functionally, to shape and implement the local and global Therapeutic Area strategy through innovative integrated evidence generation, engagement on scientific results with internal and external stakeholders, and co-creation with healthcare systems and the scientific community. Drive strategic medical expertise throughout pipeline development. Focus on optimizing patient access and market readiness by providing up-to-date compound and disease area medical expertise, acting as a key expert in the relevant therapeutic area assigned.

About the Role

Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Strategic Development- Guide drug development strategy across clinical stages and analyze therapeutic value and market potential of emerging compounds.
  • Pipeline Evaluation- Assess scientific validity and clinical potential of drug candidates. Identifies Real World Evidence (RWE) needs and utilizes implementation science and other innovative methodologies. Provide comprehensive medical and scientific insights for pipeline progression. Conduct in-depth medical literature and clinical research reviews.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration- Collaborate with access, clinical, research, regulatory, supply, and commercial teams, Facilitate communication between medical, scientific, and business units. Represent medical perspective in strategic decision-making processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement- Interact with external scientific communities and key opinion leaders. Develop scientific presentations and medical communications. Support regulatory interactions, health basket process, and scientific project (advisory boards, events, etc).
  • Patient-Centric Innovation- Ensure patient needs drive pipeline development strategy. Identify potential patient benefits and clinical outcome improvements. Contribute to innovative therapeutic solution development.

Essential Requirements:

  • Education: MD, PhD, Veterinarian or PharmD.
  • 2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical medical affairs.
  • Proficient Hebrew and English, both written and spoken.
  • Exceptional communication skills and customer orientation.
  • Project Management.
  • Cross functional collaboration.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrated self-management skills.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience with RWE and Clinical trials.
  • Experience with pre-launch and launch process.
