Summary

Novartis is seeking motivated individuals to join our Novartis Leadership Trainee Program (NLTP) in the Marketing division. This 12-month program is designed to provide recent graduates with accelerated training in the Pharmaceutical Commercial field. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain real-world, hands-on experience in important roles and projects, while promoting personal and professional growth.

This program is for you. You will occupy different positions (mainly in brand management sphere), work with different mentors, and develop a deep understanding of the business but also of the Novartis culture.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and managing local and national events, such as seminars, symposia, and congresses
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of internal events, including cycle meetings and product launches
  • Planning and implementing local promotional and non-promotional campaigns, including designing, creating, and analyzing outcomes
  • Collaborating with agencies and stakeholders to implement different physical and digital assets
  • Providing administrative support by participating in the design and implementation of new projects
  • Facilitating information exchange between marketing and sales teams
  • Consolidating project outcome presentations and meeting minutes
  • Ensuring all activities and projects comply with legal and compliance requirements
  • Assisting with ad hoc translation for team members
  • Cooperating with the medical department on scientific projects and implementation of global/regional/local strategies
  • Participating in brand management activities, such as developing marketing plans, monitoring market trends, and identifying business development opportunities
  • Possessing relevant medical knowledge of selected products and providing medical inputs to marketing strategy and advertising tools
  • Anticipating future trends in disease management and market environment to maximize product performance

Essential Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in medicine, Pharmacy, Bioscience/Biomedical Engineering, Management, Economics, or Business Administration
  • Strong academic performance
  • Previous work, internship, or co-op experience
  • Passion for learning and pursuing a career in the healthcare industry
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and assignments
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities
  • Proven teamwork, innovation, and initiative
  • Understanding of spontaneous adverse events reporting and technical complaints for pharmaceutical products
