Point person for performance management of the department, developing and visualizing the scorecards with relevant internal and external benchmarks. Enable data driven decision making for the team to deliver sales volume of >$500M USD across a large portfolio of brands in diverse but specialized T.A.s. About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive financial accountability, robust financial planning, and optimized resource allocation within portfolio; deliver insights that impact top and bottom-line performance and enable strategic trade-off analysis and decision making.
  • Partner with the portfolio leads to combine data and financial insights into tangible business insights and impact to effectively drive recommendations. Drive business insights / identify growth opportunities through rigorous analyses of internal sales and market data. Provide clear and concise analyses of portfolio performance based on a deep understanding of internal and external business drivers.
  • Provide robust sales forecasts; triangulate different approaches and sources (e.g., patient, market, trend-based forecasts). Drive financial discipline for the portfolio, ensure proper cost planning and tracking is in place. Leverages various datasets, advanced statistical techniques, and financial modelling to drive strategic thought & effective decision-making.
  • Drive optimal resource allocation with effective ROI frameworks.
  • Develop business planning calendar and template for quarterly reviews aligned with Finance and global In Market Brands team performance management.
  • Prospect externally to develop roster of partners for alternative business models and alternative channels. Navigate internal onboarding of vendors and evaluate performance on an ongoing basis for all types of models.
  • Work collaboratively with the strategic business innovation portfolio director to identify key drivers and impact of new models and strategic choices made and the dynamic re-allocation of funds/activities.
  • Provide the right level of analytical rigor to ensure fluid decision making, balancing between in depth and high-level analysis depending on requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  • 10-15 years related experience. Bachelor or above in Finance/Business Administration. Professional designations (CPA, MBA) preferred.
  • Strong technical skills in the areas of forecasting accounting and finance. Ability to analyze and interpret numbers. Strong analytical approach, budget management skills
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel and PowerPoint a must). Experience with SAP and budgeting tools. Experiences with Bi, data analysis & visualization tools.
  • Results oriented with strong team focus. Strategic planning experience. Has a high prioritization mindset.
  • Excellent understanding of marketing & sales processes in large global organization. Experience with operations excellence. Experience working at a senior level with large data providers such as IQVIA or Nielsen. Strong knowledge of Canadian Market

Desirable Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English, French)
  • BD&L experience
