Here at Novartis in Poland we are currently looking for a Clinical Project Manager. The main purpose of this position is to plan, execute and interpret clinical trials research, data collection activities and clinical operations.

About the Role

  • Establishing and approving scientific methods for design and implementation of clinical protocols, data collection systems and final reports.
  • Supporting new and ongoing clinical research and clinical trials and ensuring efficient and timely processing of confidentiality agreements and clinical agreements.
  • Monitoring adherence to protocols and determines study completion.
  • Managing clinical and regulatory files and maintains clinical inventory intended for distribution to investigational sites.
  • Interaction with investigational sites, clinical consultants, Contract Research Organizations and other vendors.
  • Collaborating with Country medical/clinical colleagues, global clinical teams and directing activities to execute and deliver the assigned studies.
  • Selecting, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

This is a hybrid position with 12 days per month based in the Warsaw offices.

Key performance indicators:

  • Delivery of Clinical Trials to quality standards, agreed timelines, number of patients, costs and quality
  • Adherence to Novartis policy and guidelines and external regulations

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences/healthcare or clinical relevant degree (or equivalent).
  • Fluency in English (both written and oral).
  • Significant recent experience in various aspects of clinical trial activity in the pharmaceutical industry or a Contract Research Organization
  • Experience of working with a global team in a matrix environment.
  • Experience working across different EMEA countries
  • Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to meet timeline
  • Knowledge of one or some of the following therapeutic areas: oncology, neurology, cardiovascular, immunology
