Provide hands on management for development and support of applications in quality analytics area and wider operations domain.
Ensure development runs smoothly, drive continuous process improvement, cooperate with various teams along the solution delivery value chain. Support project and solution delivery managers with needed content for meetings and team events. Interact with all relevant stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery with up to standard designs. Usual stakeholders are architecture teams, data scientists, DevOps, Security, Integration Factory, Infrastructure teams, Platform support teams, Quality assurance team members as well as Product Owners.
About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Design and manage the development of modular, reusable, elegantly designed and maintainable software that supports the Quality organization as well as strategic initiatives.
- Hands on, solution driven and customer focused. Develop and maintain the code repositories for which you are responsible and respond rapidly to bug reports or security vulnerability issues.
- Embody and integrate software development best practices into your everyday work and inspire others within the engineering community to emulate these practices.
- Collaborate extensively with your colleagues across Security, Compliance, Engineering, Product Management, Product Service Management and Business Management.
- Ensure the business needs are aligned and can be implemented on data base end as well as on the front end.
- Continue support for moving to cloud as well as continuous improvement of applications.
Key performance indicators:
- Committed roadmaps are followed and designs are signed off by Domain and Data architects a well as business.
- On time delivery of committed applications and enhancements that are able to achieve benefits planned.
- OKRs
- Ensure cooperation and support for external and internal developers.
Minimum Requirements:
Work Experience:
- 5+ years of prior programming experience in a professional environment, building applications across platforms.
- Experience in customer facing IT roles
- Strong data engineering fundamentals in data management, data analysis, back-end system design.
- Experience with Data & Analytics solutions
Skills:
- Attention to details, self-starter
- Excellent collaboration and ability to work in global teams and have clear and concise follow up.
- Excellent communication and problem management skills
- Able to manage the development team and delegate tasks in an efficient manner.
- Understands the competing organizational needs beyond own part of business
- Able to interpret complex requirements and to influence internal and external peers

- Familiar with Agile, Disciplined Agile as well as Waterfall delivery concepts.
- Collecting and interpreting requirements as well as building supporting schemas to clarify requirements.
- Proficient in using: Jira, Confluence,
- Familiar with: Data management concepts, Data modelling, AWS, Bitbucket, DevSecOps concepts
- Expert in: SQL, SAP with focus on Manufacturing/Supply chain and Quality, from an ECC/S4 as well as BW standpoint, Power BI.
- Digital savvy: good grasp of the impacts and opportunities that data and technology will create for Operations
