Location: Geneva, Switzerland

As part of the Swiss FRA Operations team, you provide quality services to ADACAP International, securing company assets by applying tight controls in the financial transactions. This role supports the 3rd party and Intercompany processes (invoicing, guidance on intercompany transactions, etc.) as well as the monthly closing and reporting process, ad-hoc projects to improve controls and reporting, ensuring accurate financial information and timely and effective reporting of balances.

About the Role

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform 3rd party invoicing and intercompany invoicing based on needs
  • Monitor intercompany balances and pro-actively follow up on unusual developments and aged items with counterparties.
  • Manage AP / AR reporting, prepare and review AP / AR aging, ensure timely collection of receivables including follow ups with the customers and vendors.
  • Prepare SOX controls, support monthly closing process (accruals, journal entries, account reconciliations...) as well as prepare monthly sales volumes reporting by product
  • Collaborate closely with ADACAP logistics, customer service teams and shared services teams.
  • Cultivate the Novartis culture by being a role model within the Team.
  • Support ad-hoc ERP (D365) improvement projects related to the implementation of new financial flows and but not limited to implementation of purchase order improvements.
  • Perform variance analysis and month on month analysis for both P&L and balance sheet accounts.
  • Provide documentation and assistance to the external auditors during the interim and final audit.
  • Prepare the Swiss National Bank Current Account Survey each quarter.
  • Assist in ad-hoc reporting and analysis requested by budgeting and financial planning colleagues or senior management.

What you'll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance and/or Accounting
  • working experience in Finance, preferably accounting in a multi-national company
  • Experience with MS Dynamics D365 preferred
  • Pro-active and self-driven with hands-on approach
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
