About the Role

Vaše ključne odgovornosti:

  •  Načrtovanje (proračun, napovedi, strateški plan) in poročanje.
  • Učinkoviti partner na različnih razsežnostih (lokalni, globalni, med oddelki).
  • Svetovanje poslovnim skupinam o finančnih in strateških zadevah, vključno s pobudami za preoblikovanje.
  • Zagotavljanje, da poslovni partnerji razumejo finančne procese in upoštevajo interne smernice/SOP.
  • Spodbujanje preglednost stroškov in zagotavlja dobro razumevanje ključnih stroškovnih dejavnikov.
  • Ocena tveganja in priložnosti, proaktivno komunicira in daje priporočila za ublažitev. Proaktivno spremlja in odpravlja težave.
  • Usklajevanje dejavnosti v zvezi z ocenami linijskih funkcij, kot je merilo uspešnosti McK CMC.
  • Vodenje medpodjetniške dialoge z NTO o inventarjih in pogajanjih o SLA za CapEx in nekatalogizirane zahteve.
  • Podpora vodje BPA TRD pri različnih dejavnostih in je namestnik na sestankih, kjer je to potrebno.
  • Delovanje v tesnem sodelovanju z ekipo TRD Finance in zagotavlja finančno strokovno znanje za vrednotenje in izvajanje/sledenje naložb/projektov.
  • Svetovanje pri velikih globalnih naložbah TRD v strateški in strokovni zmogljivosti. Finančni nosilec za ustrezno izvedbo strateških naložb.
  • Napovedovanje CapEx in podpora procesu, ki zagotavlja skladnost z Novartisovim računovodskim priročnikom in drugimi smernicami.
  • Opredelitev možnosti prihranka stroškov in produktivnosti.
  • Podpora identificirane globalne pobude za produktivnost s finančnega vidika in tesno sodeluje s funkcijo nabave, da bi povečali produktivnost.
  • Digitalne finance / Računovodstvo in skladnost / dejavnosti x-TRD Razvoj in izvajanje vrhunskih novih tehnologij in strokovnih znanj.
  • Prispevek k prenosu znanja med ekipami.
  • Skrb za upoštevanje Novartisovih standardov v ekipi; zlasti kakovost (GxP, GDevP, kontrola podatkov), etika, zdravje, varnost, okolje (ZVO) in informacijska varnost (ISEC); ter zastopanje na notranjih in zunanjih presojah in inšpekcijskih pregledih.
  • Pravočasno zagotavljanje visoke kakovosti vse tehnične dokumentacije, zlasti v okviru mednarodnih postopkov registracije.

Vaš doprinos k delovnem mestu:

  • Univerzitetna izobrazba s področja financ, računovodstva, ekonomije ali poslovne administracije
  • Tekoče znanje angleščine (pisno in ustno), zaželeno tudi znanje drugih tujih jezikov.
  • Dobro poznavanje programa Microsoft Office.
  • Večletne izkušnje na področju finančnega kontrolinga / poslovnega načrtovanja in analize. Izkušnje iz finančnega poročanja in računovodstva.
  • Izkušnje v farmacevtski industriji in / ali tehničnih operacijah predstavljajo prednost.

Major accountabilities:

  •  Planning (Budget, LF, StratPlan) & Reporting.
  • Partners effectively on different dimensions (local, global, across divisions).
  • Advises business teams on finance and strategic matters, including transformation initiatives.
  • Ensures business partners understand the financial processes and follow internal guidelines/SOPs.
  • Drives cost transparency and ensures good understanding of key cost drivers.
  • Evaluates risks & opportunities, proactively communicates and makes recommendations for mitigation. Proactively follows up and drives issue resolutions.
  • Coordinate activities related to line function assessments such as the McK CMC benchmark.
  • Leads intercompany dialogues with NTO on inventory and SLA negotiations for CapEx and non-catalogued requests.
  • Supports Head BPA TRD in various activities and deputizes in meetings where needed.
  • Works in close collaboration with TRD Finance team and provides financial expertise for evaluation and execution/tracking of Investments/Projects.
  • Advises on global investments in a strategic and expert capacity.
  • CapEx forecasting and process support ensuring adherence to Novartis Accounting Manual and other guidelines.
  • Identifies cost savings and productivity opportunities.
  • Supports identified global productivity initiatives from a financial aspect and works closely with sourcing function to maximise productivity.
  • Ensures compliance with company standards in the team; in particular quality (GxP, GDevP, data control), ethics, health, safety, environment (HSE) and information security (ISEC); and representation in internal and external audits and inspections.
  • Timely provision of high quality of all technical documentation, especially in the framework of international registration procedures.  

Minimum Requirements:

  • University Degree in Finance & Accounting, economics or business administration with a strong focus on finance.
  • Fluent in English (both written and oral), second language is a benefit.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Several years of experience in Controlling / Business Planning & Analysis and Financial Reporting & Accounting.
  • Experience in Pharma industry and / or technical operations is an additional benefit.
