About the Role

We are looking for an experienced profile with Supply Chain background who can drive the definition and roll-out of key supply chain digitalization projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drives strategy definition of key digitalization initiatives and use-cases to achieve a competitive advantage in all aspects of Technical Operations including supporting x-platform activities, generating alignments and financial benefits across the entire network.
  • Ensures proactive and transparent plans and reporting is in place for major strategic digitalization projects and use-cases.
  • Executes benchmarking and studies to maintain competitive advantage within the industry applying fit-for-purpose tools and use-cases.
  • Leads cross-functional implementation teams for assigned projects: Significant time commitment (80%) is expected to drive the key Network Planning tool Kinaxis® RapidResponse® roll-out and implementation as PMO Lead in the Large Molecule Network and beyond. Kinaxis® RapidResponse® is a key platform for Novartis Operations capable of delivering true concurrent supply chain and network planning.
  • Hands-on support of the operational implementation teams in global and local functions.
  • Champions the Novartis Values & Behaviors and acts as a role model of leadership to foster an inclusive and high performing culture and advocate for Digitalization and Automation

Obligatory requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor/Master degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering
  • 5+ years of cross functional and operational experience in a international and multidisciplinary global TechOps role, with an understanding of production process of biologics and aseptic fill & finish processes, if not, within a highly regulated environment
  • Excellent knowledge of ERP systems, including SAP. Kinaxis Rapid Response would be highly valued.
  • Advanced SCM planning skills e.g., as tactical planner or process owner / specialist
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing planning tools, forecasting, launch preparation and competitive intelligence
  • Proven, strong track record in strategic thinking, result orientation and project management
  • Strong leadership skills and expert team player and able to work in cross-functional/cross-divisional teams – no direct reports? No direct reports, matrix leadership
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence and coach people and demonstrated change management skills
