About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Develop / maintain technical site strategy plan (Capex Plan, recapitalization of equipment, budgeting, etc.) and oversight of its implementation.
- Ensure availability of competent, high performing people and develop the talent pool -Inspection readiness of Engineering department .Responsible for the technical availability, reliability and condition of the production plants.
- Define/ execute asset strategy and proper asset lifecycle management as well as define and implement maintenance strategy and program and budget .
- Responsible for cost efficient for new and existent engineering assets in full compliance with law, cGMP and HSE regulation.
- Responsible for the management/execution of all site investment projects according to asset life cycle management and project schedules, time, cost, functionality and quality. Apply initiatives and strategies from global improvement programs and engineering standards and push and support roll out and implementation.
- Ensure state of the art technical solutions according compliance standards and HSE regulations as well as lead the sharing and leveraging of best practices and expertise within the Novartis engineering community
Key performance indicators:
- Highest safety standard implemented during projects and operations, no critical findings in HSE audits, no LTI and SIF.
- Adherence to global / regional / site KPI.
- Equipment availability, reliability, effectiveness.
- Meet maintenance cost efficiency and budget
