About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with senior business leaders and their teams to address organization challenges and opportunities and creates the organizational capability needed to drive business performance - seeking to make the complex more simple for the business
  • Diagnose root causes and lead delivery of top quality organization design, development and change management advice and interventions in line with diagnosis done
  • Regularly lead teams of colleagues on consulting projects from various expertise areas in and beyond P&O
  • Leverage deep skill in diagnosis, org and operating model design and change management, as well as team and leader development
  • Manage a team of OD Directors for the business, ensuring the work is prioritized and allocated, and engaging and developing the team members
  • Works with the Business T&T Head to manage a portfolio of OD work, that is supported by own team members, by Novartis OD colleagues, and selected external contractors and consultants

What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements:

  • Relevant degree, postgraduate and working qualifications preferred in the relevant business or applied behavioural sciences (e.g. Strategy, Business Administration, Organization Development, Psychology, HRM, MBB, etc).
  • Significant OD experience (e.g. leading large scale transformations, complex OD/ change management interventions or business improvement projects), supported by broader consulting, P&O, strategy and/or transformation experience
  • Strong presence with senior executive engagement and facilitation, strong influencing ability incl. challenge, through consulting, communication and relationship building skills
  • Excellent consulting skills with experience in building trust and managing client relationships in high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
