Summary
The Associate Director QC IT (LIMS Global System Administrator) will be joining Quality IT Global Team and will be responsible for supporting delivery and operations of IT applications which enable the Quality Control laboratories across all Novartis Operations sites. In this role, you will work to enable project delivery, implementation, and operational support of LabWare LIMS within the QC and AS&T area for Novartis Operations & Quality.
About the Role
Your key responsibilities:
- As part of the Global QCIT team supporting delivery and operations of laboratory applications, drive solution delivery and implementation of IT applications as standards for Novartis Operations laboratories (This role will sit within a larger LabWare team).
- Partner with Novartis Quality Control personnel to understand the needs and priorities of the business, and to deliver the best solutions possible to meet the needs of the end user.
- Day-to-day support and engagement with external teams supporting the delivery and operations of LabWare LIMS
- Deliver and maintain key CSV documentation to support design and implementation of processes within a highly complex QC area
- Collaboration with QC stakeholders across US timezones
- Pro-actively seek to identify and communicate risks, challenges, opportunities for improvement.
- Share learnings and experiences across teams, with a view to implementing best practices for Novartis operations.
- Identify, shape and (together with business stakeholders) prioritize technology enhancements for QC-IT systems
- Work to support, maintain, and enhance LabWAre LIMS.
- Support with vendor governance activities
- Other activities such as escalation management and future strategy as required by management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor university degree or higher
- At least 5 years experience in Quality Control area
- LIMS Administrator or Super User Experience (LabWare LIMS is preferred)
