Summary

-To provide communication and patient advocacy support, for Novartis Pharma and the Corporate Centre. You will support and ad value to the Novartis reputation both internally and externally and through successful collaborations with external stakeholders.

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

  • Communicate clear Communication strategy and ensure that it is reflected in the part of the organization, in order to protect and enhance Novartis business and reputation.
  • Manage the establishment, development and coordination of communication plans inline with strategic goals.
  • Manage day-to-day strategic and operational business matters.
  • Manage the implementation of Communication and Patient Advocacy policies and processes to ensure consistency of Novartis brand position and compliance.
  • Strategic Communications & Patient Advocacy across Priority Therapeutic Areas (50%)
  • Internal & external Communications with the corporate center (30%)
  • Insights, measurement & Impact
  • Social Media Management (Corporate Center & Novartis Pharma)
  • Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Digital Marketing and/or Communications &/Patient Advocacy within Health industry and/or HC ecosystem, strategic planning and media relations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines within the science and pharmaceutical sector is a plus.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within the science or pharmaceutical industry context.
  • Curiosity around  AI technologies and their application in communications.
  • Experience with digital strategy development and campaign management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Collaboration with external stakeholders, especially patient groups
  • English language proficient in written and verbal
