About the Role
Major accountabilities:
Initiate technology modernization projects/ campaigns for those obsolete or future obsolete technologies.
- Collect data to determine impact and also highlight the data quality issues if any and also ensure the issues are resolved with collaboration with the concerned teams
- Preparation of communication relevant to modernization and Align with the Technology owners o to define the scope of TLM and
- Articulate direction for the technology modernization. Initiate the risk management process and discuss the impact assessment with the Security team.
- Setup surveys to capture inputs from AM community to understand the progress and roadblocks if any. Report and follow up regularly. Plan and conduct briefing sessions with the SOM and AM communities across IT (global)
- Support risk (Application, DB, OS) assessment and decision of remediation and acceptance along with the other security deliverables.
- Implement security standard/best practice and ensure applications comply with the Novartis security standards. Partnership with technology providers and risk management expert to ensure continuous improvement to strengthen overall application Security.
- Support the KPI reporting for Security and oversee the reporting for different vendors on the OS &DB related tasks that belong to TLM.
- Continuous improvement, process automation and stabilization of reporting and dashboard solutions for both technology LCM and security standardization
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduation in computers or equivalent with at least 12 to 15 years of experience in Application Portfolio Management, Project Management and should have managed IT projects.
- Expert level skills using MS Excel for power querying and reporting.
- Knowledge in data modeling, data analysis and a fair understanding of Data lake is preferable
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
- Certifications: ITIL, PMP, PMI.
