About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Leads a cross‐disciplinary team or brings together a broad functional community.
- May serve on leadership teams and/or decision boards to review projects and programs, assess progress, and provide multi‐directional input to progress the Division pipeline; shares and communicates key information to team.
- Drives continuous improvement and provides deep insight with collaborators within area of expertise, and/or works with own team to build scientific, technical or early development expertise and added value within department and across Division.
- Sets talent, leadership development, and culture priorities for own team or sets priorities for matrix team or functional community , in alignment with Novartis People Strategy and in close collaboration with leadership team colleagues.
- Co‐create top research organization to be one step ahead the market, contribute to long‐term talent and succession planning and/or collaborate to define talent attraction and development model surrounding own area of expertise.
- Sought after mentor and role model for talent development, coaching, and performance discussions across the organization.
- Responsible for initiating and driving critical programs and initiatives within own team and/or matrix community, and beyond department to advance, prioritize and renew the Division pipeline.
- Drives continuous improvement, strategic planning and culture building across the department.
- Accountable for success of project goals, cross‐divisional and/or external collaborations within direct and indirect team or highly collaborative, matrix working group.
- Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)
