About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Design and operation of Private Cloud and Infrastructure Services within the Private Cloud Engineering team.
- Provide expert infrastructure support for the Converged and Hyperconverged environment.
- Serve as a hardware consultant and virtualization technical expert for project teams, ensuring the development of new and existing solutions.
- Own individual projects to advance IT infrastructure initiatives.
- Offer support and mentoring to colleagues.
- Continuously improve processes, propose automations, and enhance cloud integration.
- Contribute to best practices and overall performance improvement.
- Negotiate technical infrastructure solutions with providers.
- Maintain stable compliance and security, measured by availability, performance, and capacity metrics.
- Ensure responsiveness and speed of recovery for critical incidents/issues.
- Promote automation-led, programmable infrastructure, and platform services.
Your experience:
- Extensive knowledge of virtualization platforms and containers, with a strong understanding of vendor-provided hardware solutions suitable for application owners.
- Proficient in OpenShift and SAN Storage technologies (Hitachi, Brocade).
- Skilled in IT infrastructure scripting, monitoring, and operations tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of hypervisor alternatives with hands-on experience.
- Familiar with GxP standards and capable of producing necessary documentation (AH, FS, DS, IQ, OQ).
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated experience in IT Infrastructure, Service Management, and Technology.
- Expertise in development/deployment, Project/Vendor/Risk Management.
- Strong integration knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS/Azure.
- Experience working with SAN/LAN network.
- Logical reasoning and analytical thinking capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with containers and their integration with virtualization products.
