Summary
Acts as a finance business partner for the site by analyzing, planning and monitoring the financial performance, preparation of management reports and performing analysis for decision support.
About the Role
Key Requirements:
- Provide management with accurate, relevant business analysis to support monthly operational reviews and ad-hoc requests, and ensure timely and accurate information gathering
- Monthly closing activities including cost center controlling by reviewing the PCEs, charge-out to customers and write off provisions. Collects and uploads monthly LO data into IFP, populates global templates and provides comments on deviations vs TGT
- Ensure ongoing business performance is appropriately monitored and measured and drive early warning for re-direction of resources
- Ensures consistency of reported data with SAP, executes relevant NFCM controls. Participates in FCC reviews, providing support to local NFCM owner with explanations and proof of executed controls.
- Monitors project execution, prepares forecasts of charges and issue invoices, prepare proposals for service catalogues and track site NoPro costs
- Support Product costing by ensuring direct material data is accurate and collected on time. Review TPC calculations, checking for correctness and explaining changes vs previous TPCs (reconciliation).
- Analyze the main drivers of PPV, provides explanation in alignment with procurement; monitors improvement initiatives and prepare monthly R&O profile versus Budget
- Assist Support Units with the analysis of business cases and preparation of CARs that reflects best current financial and operational solution to the local and global business
- Supports the relevant cost center Owners by approving POs, tracking and forecasting spend, preparing ad-hoc analyses on cost drivers and providing ideas for improvements
- Continuously improving and simplifying existing business reporting processes and supporting the definition and implementation of lean processes to meet changing business requirements.
- Coordinate Business Partnering with other areas of the business (FRA, Supply Chain and other functions) to support on time and accurate information gathering. Prepares ad-hoc financial analyses on PCE, variances, Write off, NoPro. Ensures global and local cost-related initiatives are tracked in monthly reports
Essential Requirements:
- Quality of requested analyses, quality of comments on the drivers of actual performance and deviations vs plans
- Reliability in executing NFCM controls
- Timeliness and completeness of any data submissions to Site and Global
- Business partnering with the Support Function Unit Head and other stakeholders of the Support Functions
- Managing risks and ops efficiently for the line of business
Desirable Requirements:
- University degree in Finance / Economics, Chartered Accountant, equivalent degree or MBA in Finance from renowned business school
- At least 7-9 years’ experience in controlling
- Strong analytical skills, detail orientation and ability to deep dive in processes and systems
- Good organizational & communication skills, ability to work with different stakeholders in a multicultural environment
- Experience working in SAP environment
- Fluent in English
