About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Plan and perform scientific experiments for the preparation and timely delivery of drug substances (DS) manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate within a multi functional project team coordinated by a Project Leader.
- Conduct experiments related to purification processes (e.g., chromatography or filtration).
- Contribute to project-related scientific/technical activities with guidance from experienced team members.
- Maintain lab instruments and infrastructure, ensuring quality, quantity, and timelines in all assigned projects.
- Document scientific experiments and plant activities and optimize existing methods to develop more efficient ones.
- Communicate and address problems, perform safety and literature searches, and manage chemicals and solvents within your area of responsibility.
- Collaborate with other team members to facilitate deliveries of DS.
Minimum Requirements:
- Technician with Bachelor degree in a relevant field such as Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an associate expert/associate scientist
- Proven experience in safe handling of chemicals, potentially dangerous materials, and equipment.
- Strong scientific or technical knowledge in a specific area (e.g. biotechnology).
- Proficiency with laboratory and technical tools, as well as software and computer tools.
- Experience with downstream development technologies like chromatography or filtration is a plus.
- Basic presentation skills and scientific/technical writing skills.
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English , knowledge of site-language will be beneficial
