Summary

Location: Rotkreuz, Switzerland #LI-Hybrid Purpose of the role: As Clinical Research Medical Advisor Oncology you lead, gather, drive, ensure, and collaborate on the clinical/medical aspects of Development and prioritized Research programs/trials in Switzerland, you may work across several countries. You are the key player in making sure that the clinical trials are conducted with quality, safety, and efficiency. The position is part of CRMA Team and reports into the CRMA Cluster Head Central Europe within Global Drug Development (GDD).

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver expert scientific, clinical, and medical guidance to both internal and external stakeholders

  • Responsible for clinical/medical aspects during trial feasibility, design, start-up and maintenance phase

  • Leverage innovation and insights to optimize clinical trial planning and implementation, makes final decision on clinical/medical trial and program feasibility

  • Maintain adherence to ICH-GCP, local and regional regulations for clinical and medical undertakings

  • Utilize feedback and insights from key external parties to refine trial processes

  • Contribute scientific, clinical, and medical perspectives to national product strategy within a collaboratively optimized cross-functional team

  • Commit to delivering an unparalleled experience for site study teams and Investigators

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Scientific degree (M.D., Ph.D., or Pharm.D preferred).

  • Full professional proficiency in German and English (min C1), knowledge of the French language is a plus

  • 3+ years of clinical development experience in the pharma industry or medical / clinical practice

  • Professional experience in Oncology and in the Swiss healthcare system

  • Sound understanding of the overall clinical development process, and ICH/GCP principles

  • Ability to collaborate across boundaries in a matrix environment
