About the Role
The person in this role leads the Portfolio/Program Management Office team for ASCEND and is specifically responsible to:
Influence cross-functional program strategy to ensure innovation, efficiency, and feasibility.
Build and improve ASCEND operating model for upmost impact for Development.
Ensure generation and maintenance of high-quality key program level artefact including integrated program plan, product inventory, roadmaps, risk-register, reporting, value tracking and resource plans.
Design and deliver coordinated transformation and readiness for future product-based improvements.
Embed consistent high-quality change management framework.
Author executive communication of program progress, changes and risks.
Ensure effective ASCEND team dynamics, performance, prioritization and communication.
Owns and enhances non-drug project governance (incl. Investment Committee IT) and systems (incl. Horizon, OPTIC).
Identify program resource gaps, propose mitigation and raise as needed.
Minimum requirements:
Master’s degree (MBA with bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in life science)
15+ years of cross industry experience, ~10 years of Pharma experience
5+ years of equivalent multi-/cross-functional leadership experience
Previous track record of success in working with and leading large scale and complex international and multidisciplinary teams
Expetknowledge in technology transformational programs of global scale
Excellent portfolio/ program management skills
Advanced knowledge and experience in pharma business development is a plus
Expert in executive communication and information management
Strong Leadership presence with the ability to present and interact with senior management; demonstrates being politically savvy
Strength demonstrated in strategic decision making, scenario evaluation and contingency planning
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for linking between scientific and business participants, for driving a program to effective implementation and for leading effective international collaborations; strong verbal communication, expert in written communications, expert team player
Advanced planning and tracking skills, ability to use proper tools in program management and capable of leading multiple programs with respect to priorities
